Welcome
Ariane` Kamps is a figurative painter who works in traditional mediums to create otherworldly works. Her work reflects a deep interest in memory, hubris, dream worlds, and the human story. Her work ranges from portraiture to surreal dreamlike landscapes that she creates out of her studio. Currently the artist in residence at Alchemy Art Loft, in Central Alberta.
Her work has been featured in American Art Collector magazine, and the Wausau Museum for Contemporary Art in Painting The Figure Now, the International Biennial Portrait Competition, and the Surreal Salon. In 2024 she received of the Artwalk Developing Visual Artist Award from the Red Deer Arts Council.
Ariane’s work can be found in galleries, museums, homes & private collections from North America to New Zealand. Her paintings have been added to The Lunar Codex, a time capsule being sent to the moon for future generations to find.

She enjoys spending time with her 5 bright children, exploring their new stomping grounds in central Alberta, Canada.
