This piece was born out of a sketch I created a long time ago. I always dreamed of it coming to life again.

2020 made me look back on this older sketch I created 15 years ago. It was inspired by the myth of the Golden Apples in Greek mythology and the words of Solomon. The fruit symbolizes the words we say to one another and how impactful they can be, but the “gods” of our age much like the Grecian ones, fight over this beautiful fruit.

This piece features neon paints that glow under black light & gold paint amongst the rich vibrant garden hues.
